Hi, i am a bit confused. We do not have google binding and are enrolling couple honeywell devices with the honeywell provissioner. This works well. The question popped because of the recent updates soti published (agent & plugin) we enrolled the devices with the AE agent (GoogleMobiControl-2026.0.1.1158.apk) Did we do something wrong choosing the AE generic Agent? The OEM version seems much older (2025.1.2.1214)?
Hello! We're currently experimenting with bluetooth connectivity with some of our devices but no matter what I try. The popup to confirm the bluetooth pairing never shows up. We're testing on a Zebra KC50 device in kiosk lockdown mode. What we're trying to achive is using Soti's own Settings Manager and from there pair different perephirals like a Zebra scanner and different brands of bluetooth keyboards. It can "pair" but it never completes the pairing process as the bluetooth pairing popup doesn't show. The settings manager has access to turn on/off bluetooth, scan and pair. Then we're also using Zebra OEMConfig powered by MX which we have enabled pairing popup from but the popup never actually shows on the device while in kiosk mode. Any advice on how to solve this or if it is possible?
Hi all, We are in a bit of a pickle regarding Shared Device mode using EntraID Currently we have this setup:User Logs into device using their EntraID and passwordSet Session PIN is promptedOnce connection to Entra is made, device moves to Post-Lockdown screen folder.I have configured the Post-Lockdown screen so users cannot shut down the device without signing out first. This ensures the user signs out, the PIN is cleared, and the device is ready for the next user tomorrow.Here is the problemThere have been instances where devices have powered off due to battery depletion or similar issues. As a result, the device shut down while the previous user was still logged in.When the device is then charged and turned on, some users have forgotten the PIN they used, or its another user whos grabed the device and they do not know the PIN.Because the Device PIN initiates BEFORE the SOTI MDM, it shows the device as Offline and I am unable to clear the passcodeThis is a big issue and is basically bricking devicesHas anyone found a way around this?
Hi Everyone, I hope you all had a great start into the week. I am searching for a solution to display a QR or other type of barcode in the starting page of a lockdown. We want to use a barcode instead of the device name to identify the devices. At the moment there are stickers on the outside of the device but in an industriell environment the devices often loose the stickers. Any idea how to do this? Thank you very much.
Hello there, I have a common issue with Company portal stealing token from MS Authenticator, which results in MS Authenticator being unable to register device as shared device. However I alraedy set Authenticator as "high-priority" and "open after installation". Also placed company portal in same app policy and gave it "postpone" priority and a bunch of MS apps in between. Still every other device I have to fix manualy by removing both apps and clearing cache and metadata of Authenticator and re-installing just it first. Side note: I can not avoid Company portal, as it is required by my mother company policy to run any MS stuff (Intune MAM). Hello, we have updated our smartphones from Android 14 to Android 16 with the new Samsung One UI 8.0. Now it is no longer possible to access admin mode, as nothing happens when you press and hold the back button. Admin mode can now only be accessed via the Soto Mobicontrol Center. Google has assigned a new function (preview) to the Back button in Android 16 when you press and hold it. This means that the previous function of SOTi no longer works. We need a workaround in the Soti app because we cannot access Admin mode without the company Wi-Fi. Best regard

We are looking for a way to generate a report or dashboard in SOTI MobiControl that shows: The current Android version on each device Whether an Android OS update is available If so, which version the update would bring the device to Unfortunately, we have not yet found a reliable method within the MobiControl console to pull this information across all devices and brands. Does anyone know how to implement this kind of update status reporting in SOTI MobiControl?Is there perhaps a way using Custom Data, Advanced Search, or any scripted solution via StageNow, OEMConfig, or SOTI Hub? Hello everyone, there is a way to create a phone book in Mobicontrol that is then installed on multiple phones. I don't want to do this with a vfc file, because I have to exchange it again and again with every new contact. It is best if I have an app with which the contacts are then also displayed in the contacts app of the mobile phone. Hi, i have a profile with a package (update) and send it to the phones. That works great. The app update and doensn't need the QR Code for a new registrate. But if i send the same profile with a package (same version or lower) to the phone, the app ill be uninstalled and new installed. In the case of the lower version, that is right and ok but i don't want it when the version is the same. Is there a possibilityy to configure that?
On our installed Zebra TC78 devices running Android 11 (11-35-20.00-RG-U00-STD-ATH-04) I experience the following problem. Devices have a LockDown screen installed with an application which uses or wants to use the Chrome Browser. At first launch of Chrome this opens (com.android.chrome/org.chromium.chrome.browser.firstrun.FirstRunActivity) that remains in background thus can not be accepted by end-user. Is there a way to do 'Use without an Account' via SOTI Script or otherwise? Thanks in afvance for assistance.
