Using a Samsung Galaxy tablet to connect to a monitor and mirror the screen. The tablet is connected via usb-c to hdmi. Once the tablet is placed on Lockdown, the mirroring stops (black screen on the monitor). There are 4 different packages provided in the Device Control that can be added to the homescreen: com.sec.android.desktopmode.uiservice com.sec.android.app.desktoplauncher com.samsung.desktopsystemui com.sec.android.dexsystemui I've added all these several different ways (together, alone,etc) and all provide the same black screen. Also have experimented with com.sec.android.app.dexonpc for possible usb display issues. Is there an easier way to mirror the display? What combo of apps should be used? Does a script need to be involved for all apps that may be deactivated through enable_system_app?
I added my iPhone using Apple Configurator, and it's visible in the Apple Business Management device list . Now, MobiControl has successfully added the device . However, when I try to send a message, I get the message: "1 selected device(s) do not have the MobiControl Agent installed, or have not accepted its terms & conditions in-app." What steps do I need to take to successfully send the message?

Hello, I am currently performing tests on the Zebra TC56, TC15, and TC57 models. On the TC15 and TC57 devices, the SIM card numbers are displayed correctly on the console. However, the SIM card number is not visible on the TC56 model. The Android versions of the devices are as follows: TC56: Android 8 (cannot be upgraded to a higher version) TC57: Android 13 TC15: Android 15 Could you please advise on the reason why the SIM card number is not displayed on the TC56 device? I would appreciate your support on this matter.
Hello ! We have set up a reactive profile for iOS. I want to enforce the use of a passcode on the iPhone, but without it expiring. In Configurations > Passcode, I have therefore selected a minimum length, but there is also the ‘maximum passcode age’ setting, which, according to the documentation, accepts values from 0 to 730... but I cannot select 0. If I enter ‘0’, it reverts to ‘1’, and the passcode needs to be changed every day... I simply want to disable the expiry, but this does not seem to be possible. Does anyone know why, whether I am doing something wrong or if it is a bug? I wanted to add a screenshot to this post but I keep getting a 400 error :-) I should point out that we are not yet Mobicontrol customers; we are currently in a trial period on a trial licence, which expires in a few days, so I cannot create a ticket. Hi all, We are in a bit of a pickle regarding Shared Device mode using EntraID Currently we have this setup:User Logs into device using their EntraID and passwordSet Session PIN is promptedOnce connection to Entra is made, device moves to Post-Lockdown screen folder.I have configured the Post-Lockdown screen so users cannot shut down the device without signing out first. This ensures the user signs out, the PIN is cleared, and the device is ready for the next user tomorrow.Here is the problemThere have been instances where devices have powered off due to battery depletion or similar issues. As a result, the device shut down while the previous user was still logged in.When the device is then charged and turned on, some users have forgotten the PIN they used, or its another user whos grabed the device and they do not know the PIN.Because the Device PIN initiates BEFORE the SOTI MDM, it shows the device as Offline and I am unable to clear the passcodeThis is a big issue and is basically bricking devicesHas anyone found a way around this?
I am trying to see if we can use SOTI for some of our android tablet and have them use intune company portal app to access our comnpany apps? The app requires the creation of a managed work profile, and when i tried it says it is not able to set up a work profile. I see that there is work profile that SOTI creates on the device, is that why and is there a way around that?
Hi, On Android Classic devices, we are deploying applications through a package included in a profile. We have noticed that some apps open automatically after installation. After reviewing the package, we can see that the "Automatically Run Activity After Install" checkbox is unchecked: We would also like to mention that the packages are created via API, and through the API we can see these flags: Any idea what could be causing this? Hi, i am a bit confused. We do not have google binding and are enrolling couple honeywell devices with the honeywell provissioner. This works well. The question popped because of the recent updates soti published (agent & plugin) we enrolled the devices with the AE agent (GoogleMobiControl-2026.0.1.1158.apk) Did we do something wrong choosing the AE generic Agent? The OEM version seems much older (2025.1.2.1214)?

Hi community I would like to add a button on the lockdown to execute a script. In the past I have used the lockdown command script://sdcard/script.cmd. It was working good. Today, script:// command is not anymore listed in the option of the lockdown. What is the current option ? custom:// ? The script must wipe the chrome cache. So I've used wipeapplication com.android.chrome. When I manually execute the script it works BUT the entire lock down seems restaring, is it normal ?
Hello, Past month or so we are seeing a lot of our devices that are in Shared mode registered with entra being de-registered Is anyone else experiencing this issue?Samsung Active tab 3 and 5 devicesOS 13 and 15Android Microsoft 365 condistional access is connected and synced.Devices once registered are compliant. Authenticator and Company Portal apps are installed on the devices. We do use app protection policies which is user based not device based. This is to protect company data (cant copy into 3rd part apps, cant screenshot etc.)I have also excluded users to rull out the app protection from applying but the device would still de-register. Date and time are correct on the device.On my test device i signed in and locked the device, left it plugged into power. by the end of the day it de-registered itself. Without me touching it.Microsoft cannot see any issues on their end from the logs that they are seeing.Currently ticket logged with SOTIAny suggestions would be appreciated
