Hi all, We are in a bit of a pickle regarding Shared Device mode using EntraID Currently we have this setup:User Logs into device using their EntraID and passwordSet Session PIN is promptedOnce connection to Entra is made, device moves to Post-Lockdown screen folder.I have configured the Post-Lockdown screen so users cannot shut down the device without signing out first. This ensures the user signs out, the PIN is cleared, and the device is ready for the next user tomorrow.Here is the problemThere have been instances where devices have powered off due to battery depletion or similar issues. As a result, the device shut down while the previous user was still logged in.When the device is then charged and turned on, some users have forgotten the PIN they used, or its another user whos grabed the device and they do not know the PIN.Because the Device PIN initiates BEFORE the SOTI MDM, it shows the device as Offline and I am unable to clear the passcodeThis is a big issue and is basically bricking devicesHas anyone found a way around this?

I am trying to see if we can use SOTI for some of our android tablet and have them use intune company portal app to access our comnpany apps? The app requires the creation of a managed work profile, and when i tried it says it is not able to set up a work profile. I see that there is work profile that SOTI creates on the device, is that why and is there a way around that?
Hi, On Android Classic devices, we are deploying applications through a package included in a profile. We have noticed that some apps open automatically after installation. After reviewing the package, we can see that the "Automatically Run Activity After Install" checkbox is unchecked: We would also like to mention that the packages are created via API, and through the API we can see these flags: Any idea what could be causing this? Hi, i am a bit confused. We do not have google binding and are enrolling couple honeywell devices with the honeywell provissioner. This works well. The question popped because of the recent updates soti published (agent & plugin) we enrolled the devices with the AE agent (GoogleMobiControl-2026.0.1.1158.apk) Did we do something wrong choosing the AE generic Agent? The OEM version seems much older (2025.1.2.1214)?

Hi community I would like to add a button on the lockdown to execute a script. In the past I have used the lockdown command script://sdcard/script.cmd. It was working good. Today, script:// command is not anymore listed in the option of the lockdown. What is the current option ? custom:// ? The script must wipe the chrome cache. So I've used wipeapplication com.android.chrome. When I manually execute the script it works BUT the entire lock down seems restaring, is it normal ?
Hello, Past month or so we are seeing a lot of our devices that are in Shared mode registered with entra being de-registered Is anyone else experiencing this issue?Samsung Active tab 3 and 5 devicesOS 13 and 15Android Microsoft 365 condistional access is connected and synced.Devices once registered are compliant. Authenticator and Company Portal apps are installed on the devices. We do use app protection policies which is user based not device based. This is to protect company data (cant copy into 3rd part apps, cant screenshot etc.)I have also excluded users to rull out the app protection from applying but the device would still de-register. Date and time are correct on the device.On my test device i signed in and locked the device, left it plugged into power. by the end of the day it de-registered itself. Without me touching it.Microsoft cannot see any issues on their end from the logs that they are seeing.Currently ticket logged with SOTIAny suggestions would be appreciated
In Google Play Console, where can I view the results of the "Application Feedback" feature after it has been enabled?
I am able to open SOTI Surf from the RM app (on the homescreen) and access the okta sso link with no issues prior to enabling kiosk mode. I have enabled webfiltering ad whitelisted the URL's needed and this works fine also (without kiosk mode enabled at this point). The disconnect seems to be when the app is trying to launch the surf browser when kiosk mode is enabled. I'm now getting "You are not allowed to access this page" I have also added the RM and SOTI Surf bundle ID's to App run control. Any other ideas why this is happening and what else I can try to resolve this?
Hello everyone, I would appreciate your support with the following question. Our customer wants only one application's notifications to be visible while the device is running in kiosk mode. The devices in use are Zebra TC15 and TC57 running Android 10/11. Is it possible to allow notifications for only a specific application while blocking notifications from all other apps? If anyone has implemented or tested this scenario, I would greatly appreciate your feedback. Thank you in advance!
On Android 15, Honeywell devices can no longer skip privacy or consent screens during Android Enterprise enrollment. Is this the same for other Android Enterprise OEM ecosystems, and therefore an Android Enterprise–wide restriction, not OEM‑specific?
Hello! We're currently experimenting with bluetooth connectivity with some of our devices but no matter what I try. The popup to confirm the bluetooth pairing never shows up. We're testing on a Zebra KC50 device in kiosk lockdown mode. What we're trying to achive is using Soti's own Settings Manager and from there pair different perephirals like a Zebra scanner and different brands of bluetooth keyboards. It can "pair" but it never completes the pairing process as the bluetooth pairing popup doesn't show. The settings manager has access to turn on/off bluetooth, scan and pair. Then we're also using Zebra OEMConfig powered by MX which we have enabled pairing popup from but the popup never actually shows on the device while in kiosk mode. Any advice on how to solve this or if it is possible?
