SOTI Identity now supports NFC (Near Field Communication) tag-based login for local, LDAP, and Microsoft Entra ID users on devices managed by SOTI MobiControl in Lockdown mode. Administrators can assign NFC tag IDs to users, enabling secure, tap-based sign-ins without the requirement for passwords. This simplifies access to shared devices and enhances both convenience and security.
SOTI Identity now offers passkey-based authentication for local SOTI Identity users, introducing a modern and secure password-less login experience for the SOTI Identity web console. Users can register multiple passkeys and experience an intelligent login flow that determines whether to prompt a password or a passkey.
With this release, SOTI Identity introduces full support for SOTI Snap 2026.0.0 including its new mode of operation for SOTI MobiControl managed devices. Each SOTI Identity tenant can now host SOTI Snap instances of both modes of operation: managed and unmanaged devices.
A new SOTI ONE Integration option allows administrators to easily configure which SOTI Snap instance communicates with an associated SOTI MobiControl instance, simplifying setup and improving manageability across environments.
Administrators can now configure idle session timeouts and enable warning prompts before session expiry. Users receive a notification when their session is about to end, allowing them to either log out or stay signed in.
