When upgrading to SOTI XSight 2026.0.0, existing Design Studio files with world map data from versions 2025.1.0 or earlier are automatically migrated to the new format to ensure compatibility with the enhanced Live View experience. After migration, users may notice a slight offset between Design Studio floor plans and their corresponding positions on the Live View map compared to previous versions. To correct any visible offset, simply reconfigure the affected indoor location in Live View. Once reconfiguration is complete, the floor plan will be aligned with the world map, ensuring accurate representation of devices, access points and cameras in Live View.
When migrating from older versions of SOTI XSight to SOTI XSight 2026.0.0, the following logic applies:
Note: Data for apps that do not meet the criteria above will be deleted.

The SOTI ONE app for ServiceNow connects ServiceNow, SOTI XSight, and SOTI MobiControl, allowing organizations to manage devices, synchronize incidents, and view diagnostic data directly within ServiceNow. This integration improves operational visibility and simplifies troubleshooting by providing synchronized, real-time device and incident data.
Key device features including Live View, Find Device, and Remote Control are now accessible in more areas of SOTI XSight, including device tables, device spotlight, chat, and ServiceNow integration.
Secure and analyze your corporate network activity with the SOTI XSight VPN Analytics Dashboard. SOTI XSight captures critical network traffic data from SOTI VPN to analyze user traffic.
Devices can now initiate text chats and calls to technicians via the SOTI XSight Chat app for Android and Windows. Create support queues to route specific devices and/or issues to designated technicians and analyze technician performance and trending device problems.
Technicians can now start group chats with up to three participants and create support sessions with devices involving up to two technicians. You can also view real-time presence for technicians and devices and access chat logs from ended sessions.
Reduce data traffic and battery consumption by collecting only the data you need. Analysis profiles can now restrict the types of data collected, and devices can now belong to many analysis profiles. Custom attributes can also be used to assign a profile of any type.
View live connections from devices to nearby cell towers and show which towers each device is currently using. This feature enables users to compare performance between cell towers.
Conduct real-time speed tests from the Live View map to analyze ping time to a destination of choice. Users can test upload and download speeds from devices to the SOTI XSight server.
Easily configure and position cameras within your indoor locations using Design Studio. Once cameras are set up, users can access their live video feeds directly in Live View to monitor activity in real time and gain complete visibility across their environments.
Configure and manage Wi-Fi access points directly in Design Studio to map your network coverage across indoor locations. View access point details and see which devices are connected to SOTI XSight Live View, with visibility into access point data within the Wi-Fi and Cellular dashboards in Operational Intelligence.
GPS location of devices has now transitioned from SOTI MobiControl to SOTI XSight. Users can view the live location of individual devices or entire groups directly within Live View using the Live View device action in SOTI MobiControl. This capability is included for all SOTI MobiControl customers and does not require a SOTI XSight license.
Quickly upload multiple indoor locations using a CSV template. Add floor plans, building details, and coordinates in bulk to streamline setup and improve management efficiency. This is ideal for organizations managing large-site portfolios.
All Remote Control features are now available with a SOTI MobiControl license. A SOTI XSight license is no longer required for Device Snapshot, Task Manager, Video Recordings, Screen Annotations, Web Console or Remote Terminal.
Customers and partners can now grant technicians access to Remote Control’s diagnostic and troubleshooting features directly from their own web console without needing to integrate it with SOTI MobiControl using the same identity provider.
Technicians can now hide the remote device screen and disable all local inputs during Remote Control sessions to protect sensitive information and prevent user interference. This feature enhances data privacy, ensures uninterrupted troubleshooting, and improves technician efficiency by maintaining a secure and controlled workflow. It also supports stronger compliance by reducing the risk of data exposure or accidental disclosure during remote support.
Technicians can now securely download diagnostic files directly from Windows devices during active Remote Control sessions without navigating the device interface. This streamlines log collection, speeds up troubleshooting, and boosts technician productivity by standardizing data retrieval and reducing time spent locating files.
Technicians can now run secure, hidden PowerShell sessions during Remote Control without interrupting the device user. This new capability uses the existing encrypted Remote Control channel, removing the need for extra firewall configurations or third-party tools. By keeping scripts and commands hidden from view, security is enhanced, IT operations are streamlined and technicians can troubleshoot faster. Overall efficiency is improved and downtime is reduced without disrupting end-user productivity.
The new Script Manager enables seamless creation, editing and execution of JavaScript and PowerShell scripts directly within Remote Control sessions. Built-in validation, smart suggestions, and quick search tools make it easy to locate and run scripts instantly. This integrated workflow accelerates troubleshooting, improves accuracy and enhances technician productivity by removing the need to switch between tools.
The new Service Manager enables full visibility and control of Windows services directly within a Remote Control session. Technicians can view all installed services, including their name, description, and running user and start or stop them without opening the device’s Services console. By eliminating unnecessary tool switching and manual navigation, this feature accelerates troubleshooting, boosts productivity and delivers a more seamless remote support experience.
Technicians can now seamlessly copy and paste text between their web browser and the remote device using bidirectional clipboard synchronization. Supporting UTF-16 text, this feature streamlines troubleshooting, eliminates the need for external tools and enhances productivity by enabling faster issue resolution.
System Administrators can now choose which apps report detailed usage and data metrics, focusing on insights that matter most. Newly dedicated dashboards separate app usage from app deployment, improving visibility and performance. Optimized data collection and rendering deliver faster load times and more actionable insights across the device fleet.
