Managing 4G devices with on-premesis server

Hi all, When starting with SOTI MobiControl we made a choice to put the server on-premises.This because, back then, there where only on-premises devices that needed to be managed. All connected either by internal LAN or WiFi. Now, from within the organization, came the question to have a device connected by 4G and not only being used on-premises. Question: What is the best practice? Moving server to DMZ zone? (not preferred) Second DS server in DMZ zone? Setting up FW rules? ... Any advice, best practice approach is welcome. Greetings,Karel.

Forcing 3G connection on all devices in group.

Hi, Is there a way to force 3G connection over 4G(LTE) via Soti Mobicontrol? We are using Panasonic FZ-A2 and only way to adjust mobile connection preference, is manually from device:  Settings --> Data usage --> mobile networks  --> Preferred network  --> 3G/GSM (auto) If this setting could be deployed or controlled from mobicontrol, it would be a lot easier. Thanks in advance Tuomas Sallinen

FZ-A2 keeps disconnecting and reconnecting to network

We are having an issue where many of our Panasonic FZ-A2 Android devices keep disconnecting every few minutes, then reconnecting a few minutes later.  The devices are connecting to the network via 4G LTE connections, not via WiFi.  Accordingly, in the device log they are showing "Device disconnected", and then a few minutes later showing "Device connected".   I am suspecting this is an issue with the 4G connection, and possibly even the SIM card. However, the amount of devices having this error leads me to question if something else is going on.  The disconnecting of the devices is causing some issues with some of the real-time apps running on them. If anyone has any suggestions on where to look next or preferably a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
