Hi all, We, as a partner, are facing the challenge of remotely upgrading Android 10 and 11 devices to Android 13. We have been following this two articles to upgrade devices with Android 10, and 11 to Android 13: https://supportcommunity.zebra.com/s/article/000027787?language=en_USchttps://techdocs.zebra.com/lifeguard/a13/#migrationprocedure We have successfully been able to upgrade devices from Android 10 and Android 11 to Android 13, however we are facing a challenge due to devices that are configured on custom APN network, those devices that we have upgraded to Android 13 will load the default APN settings which are incorrect, and the device will not connect after upgrade because it will not have internet access. So we would like to ask here if anyone would have a solution for devices that are on custom APN (4G/5G) networks and are without Wi-Fi how to reload, or reconfigure the APN network in the process of upgrading it? Any ideas would be great on that matter.
Using a file sync to put the FULL.zip of Android 10 onto the sdcard directory. When I send the script to do the upgrade, about 30 percent of the time the MC9300s will Enterprise reset and come back with an all black screen saying "To start Android, enter your password" I have a few hundred devices to upgrade remotely, and need a more reliable method of upgrading. Any suggestions?
Good afternoon. Some of our Android Enterprise devices have started updating to Android 12. Our devices are Samsung Tab A7 Lite. I checked our Enterprise profile which contains our feature control and configurations. I was not able to find an option to Disable OS upgrades. We also have older devices enrolled in Android Plus and the feature control for this profile does have an option to disable OS upgrades. Is there a policy script I could send to our Enterprise Tab A7 lite to disable the upgrade? I am okay if the script expires after a set number of days. I am going to continue reading through the forums to see if I can find a good solution. I am also wondering if there is a script available to disable the new android 12 permissions setting "Remove permissions if app is unused"
