Hi, I've been trying to setup a lockdown profile on a ck71, I want the shortcut to open a specific URL with a specific browser however it dosent seem to be working. I've tried using just a URL and I've also just trtied opening teh application but nothing seems to be working. I'm guessing its the naming convention to teh application tahts cauisng an issue I have used: \\program files\html5 browser\html5browser.exe "\\program files\html5 browser\html5browser.exe" %22\\program files\html5 browser\html5browser.exe%22 //program files/html5 browser/html5browser.exe %22//program files/html5 browser/html5browser.exe%22 outwith the lockdown screen teh application works without any issues. Thanks David
MC Server 14.2, Client = Win 10 LTSCLooking at MC for managing some Windows desktop devices that are external to our AD domain network. The lockdown seems a little immature at this point though. You can specify an auto login userID but the lockdown doesn't prevent signing out or switching users and the lockdown only logs in on boot. Signing out will just dump you out to a login page rather than re-logging back in.It also seems that if you specify a "user" as the auto login account that you can run task manager (and start things) but if you specify an admin that you cannot run task manager. I would normally assume that I want a nonAdmin user as the auto login but it doesn't seem that way works very well. Unfortunately the SOTI docs (that I can find) are silent on these issues. Anyone already done this or have any insight?
I'm trying to run a Windows App on Windows 10, it's working well normally with the command line above (or any other app after find the properly path) explorer.exe shell:appsFolder\Microsoft.dynamics365foroperations-warehousing_8wekyb3d8bbwe!app Another example, Microsoft Remote Desktop app explorer.exe shell:appsFolder\Microsoft.RemoteDesktop_8wekyb3d8bbwe!app But when I assign a profile lockdown, is not working anymore, with the error Explorer.exe "Class not registered". How is possible run specifics windows 10 apps with soti?
