How to enroll/Configure a TSC printer into Connect

Solved
YB

Hi,

I'm trying to enroll a TSC MH241T printer into Connect.
Broker and MQTT are already installed. Ports are open and reachable but for some reason I can't enroll that printer.
Rules are also configured in Connect.

The only thing where I'm missing some information is on the printer itself.
When I logon to the printer, through the webportal I need to fill in some data but not sure what to fill in.

MQTT Server: xxxx.soticonnect.cloud ?
MQTT Server Port : 8883
MQTT Username: can be found in the zpl file
MQTT Password: can be found in the zpl file
MQTT Secured: Should be TLS
MQTT CA: ?? where to find that one (need to be uploaded to the printer? small part from the zpl file?)
MQTT Client Cert: ???
MQTT Private Key: ???
Private Key Password: ???
File Store CA: Root cert from Connect?
Soti Tenant ID: where can I find that

Good afternoon Younes,

Thank you for posting in SOTI Pulse. I am glad to see that this has been resolved.

The SOTI Identity tenant was misconfigured during the initial set up process and in order to enroll TSC device successfully on the Connect server, the following information is required:

MQTT Server: SCXXXXXXX.soticonnect.cloud
MQTT Server Port: 8883
MQTT Username: Connect
MQTT Password: Password found in the ZPL file
MQTT Secured: TLS
MQTT CA: SCXXXXXXX.pem (You can download this from the filestore on your connect server).

It is not needed to specify SOTI Tenant ID in the setup. It is important that we ensure that the SCXXXXXXX.pem certificate is uploaded to the relevant printers' Flash storage by navigating to

File > Select Flash from the dropdown > Click on Choose file > Select SCXXXXXXX.pem certificate file > Click on Upload.

Please let me know if you have any further questions relating to this or if this has answered your query, please mark it as 'solutioned'.

For anyone else who may be encountering similar issues, please verify the above details accordingly or proceed to raise your own SOTI Pulse thread so that we can assist you accordingly.

Have a great day!

Thank you for posting in SOTI Pulse.

Please proceed to create a support case (click here) or call the SOTI Support team (click here) to raise a new case so that we can verify that everything is configured as needed. It seems that the MQTT needs to be configured onto your instance as key data is missing. This process is completed by one of our SOTI Connect SMEs who will be able to answer any other questions that you may have regarding this issue that you are facing.

Please let me know if you have any further questions relating to this or if this has answered your query, please mark it as 'solutioned' and proceed to open the case with SOTI Support.
