Why does SOTI Assist create seven databases on installation?

Why does SOTI Assist create seven database on installation? It seems excessive. Some of the databases only contain one table. Customers may have an issue with Backing up or setting up permissions for so many databases. What is the use case for having all these databases being created on install?

Architecture of SOTI Assist is service oriented. Each service is completely isolated from the other and for that reason each service has its own database. This allows system to be very scalable because each of our services and databases can be deployed on a separate machine.
