PM85 is the new rugged all-purpose mobile device that offers various features for our Enterprise Mobility platform. It is designed completely new from ground up to meet the strict criteria of Google’s Android Enterprise Recommended (AER) program, a Google-led initiative that helps businesses confidently select, deploy, and manage the Android devices and services best suited to their enterprise needs. With a powerful Snapdragon octa-core processor at 1.8GHz, up to 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and two different barcode scanner engine options, the PM85 reflects Point Mobile’s expertise in enterprise mobility from years of experience in the industry. PM85 has an IP67 rating, is 1.8m drop proof to concrete (1.5m across operating temperature range) and has a 5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass IPS panel making it optimized to survive any rugged task. A built-in dual loud speaker with maximum 3W output gives PM85 an advantage in applications that require PTT (Push-to-Talk) functions, as well as speakerphone and VoIP with LTE and Wifi, which also improves communication in loud surroundings such as warehouses or busy retail stores. The latest version of Point Mobile’s EmKit™ is pre-installed, as it is for all new Android-based Point Mobile devices, and it includes unique provisioning tools such as Direct Clone, Scan2Set and Power Launcher. Clients of SOTI MobiControl, AirWatch and TeamViewer are included as well.

Point Mobile is located at the digital IT complex sponsored by local government at the heart of South Korea – Seoul-city and 2/3 of total employees are in engineering departments including industrial design, mechanical engineering, electrical & RF engineering, software development and quality assurance team. We own our factory in China – Shenzhen which keeps low labor cost and high quality continuously. In 3,901 m² area, more than 80 employees and 3 lines produce maximum 49.5K pcs per month.
