PM451 is Point Mobile’s new handheld terminal targeting logistics and warehouse industry. Designed after thorough market research, the PM451 will change how warehouse operation is done.
It is rare that a warehouse handheld terminal offers an LTE option. However, the warehouse tasks often include going from indoors to outdoors—making the networking solution an expensive headache. The LTE option makes it possible to send out and receive data anywhere and will start a new paradigm of the warehouse wireless solution.
PM451 has a 13MP camera on top of the device next to the scan engine. It is the result of a decision to make a device that fits into warehouse workflow flawlessly. This intuitive design incorporates every data-capturing function into one simple movement.
Among the warehouse and logistics industry, the customers’ needs vary greatly. As an effort to meet our customers’ different needs, PM451 comes with three different types of keypads –Numeric, Function Numeric, and Alpha Numeric. We also provide three types of scanners to choose from. The 1D scanner option can read any 1D barcodes regardless of lighting, rapidly yet accurately. The standard range 2D imager reads all GS1 symbologies as well as poorly printed barcodes. You can opt for the extra long-range imager that scans barcodes from a distance of up to 15 meters. An ergonomically designed gun grip is available as an option as well, which will further increase the productivity of the workforce.
Powered by Qualcomm 2.2GHz Octa-core processor and 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM, PM451 runs Android 9 smoothly and offers optimum user experience. PM451 meets the IP65 rating and has a drop resistance of 2m (MIL-STD 810G) at room temperature. Combined with the dramatic operating temperature range (from -20oC to +50oC, it is a rugged device meant to be used in harsh warehouse conditions.
