Situation

This information is useful in situations where the Search Integrity is low or when the web console is inaccurately displaying device data, such as devices not appearing, or appearing offline.

Process Description

Process:

1. Navigate to Service Management panel in the MobiControl Administration Utility on the SOTI MobiControl server and stop all services:

2. Navigate to the search directory on the SOTI MobiControl Management Server and rename the data folder:

Note: The default location for the the search directory is: C:\Program Files\SOTI\MobiControl\Search.

3. Restart the MobiControl Search in the Service Management panel of the MobiControl Administration Utility.

4. Allow a moment for the search service to start and then restart the MobiControl Management Service:

5. When the MobiControl web console is back online, navigate to Global Settings > Console Settings > Search Index and select SYNC NOW to initiate a manual sync:

Note: Repeat this step as needed to ensure search Sync Integrity reaches 100%.

6. Restart the MobiControl Deployment Server:
