Mock - How to Assign Roles in Identity

This is a mock article that demonstrates how to assign applications and roles to users in SOTI Identity.

Users may be assigned different roles when interacting with the SOTI Product environment in an organization. For instance, a technician may only be authorized for maintenance work, while an administrator can make permanent modifications.

SOTI Identity enables users to manage access to their SOTI products by assigning permission-based roles to applications within a given team.

 

This is applicable to all SOTI Products that can be integrated with SOTI Identity.

1. On the SOTI Identity page, navigate to the Applications tab. Select the application you wish to assign to.

2. Select Assign User to assign the application.

 

3. Select the user to assign the application and choose their role.
