Release Highlights

Multi-Factor Authentication for All Tenants

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is now available to all tenants in SOTI Identity, regardless of service tier. This release removes the previous entitlement restriction tied to Enterprise Plus or Premium Plus plans. Existing tenants with MFA disabled now have it activated automatically, and new tenants now have MFA enabled by default. Automatic MFA enablement gives every organization using SOTI Identity an additional layer of protection without requiring any plan changes or manual activation steps.

Multi-Tenant Management Enhancements

Administrators can now create named sections within the multi-tenant portal to logically group and organize linked child tenants, making large deployments significantly easier to navigate and manage. This release enhances tenant assignment workflows through search suggestions in Assign Tenant pop-ups and searchable dropdowns when assigning applications, eliminating the need to manually scroll through long tenant lists. Additionally, group listings now display tenant assignment counts for improved visibility, and the Assign Tenants pop-up performs significantly better when handling large numbers of tenant assignments.

This release also resolves a group provisioning issue in parent–child tenant scenarios. Group claims now reflect group names accurately, ensuring role assignments behave as expected across all tenant hierarchies.

Stronger Password Security by Default

SOTI Identity now blocks repetitive or sequential character patterns and context-specific words, such as company names or user-related terms, during password creation or updates. These password checks apply to every tenant by default and require no administrator configuration. As a result, organizations using SOTI Identity now benefit from stronger, more resilient passwords and a reduced risk of compromised accounts.
