android plus or Android Enterprise which is better ?? and how to enroll in Android Enterprise mode .
Hello all, I have a mobicontrol server on version : 13.3.0.3454 Our device is zebra tc75x with agent on version : 13.6 build 1476 Some device are in android 6.0 and 7.0 Devices are enrolled by android+ I've find on google this link: https://www.soti.net/mc/help/v10/en/Content/Web/Devices/Android/Device-Configuration-Application-Control.htm In this link , it's possible to disable access to device setting with application control. I would like to do the SAME thing but I can't find it on my server version -> v13 Any idea perhaps or I need to buy some brill ? thanks for your time
I have a Huawei P20 Pro enrolled using the Huawei Mate agent. I am experiencing quite a few issue's pushing profiles especially Email profile does not push. Screen lock code cannot be entered while in remote mode Block OS upgrade profile does NOT work Remote reset pincode does not work Device constantly disconnect from console ( tried script for doze mode did not work Before you say to use to go to Android enterprise agent this cannot be a solution as we are not set-up to use this yet. Nor will we be this year. Simon
Hello all, we have the server on version : 13.3.0.3454 we have the client on version : 13.6.0 build 1476 we have some device on android 6.0 and we have some new device in android 7.0. We used the zebra TC75x as a device. Actually we have a lock down, in this html page we have some icon. These icons launch some links with soti surf. All works fine with android 6.0 and 7.0. But i have a little problem... My problem is when I installed Soti Surf on android 7.0, at the end of installation when soti surf starts I need to accept some permissions ... In android 6.0 it's not necessary ... I need to installs more than 100 news devices. Is there a way to accept these permissions automatically ? thanks
I have an application that was initially installed on every device but has been uninstalled (separate issue) in the past. The Installed Applications panel will list it as (example) TestApplication Version 1.0. I have a new version of the application that needs to be deployed to every phone and the phones with the application already unistalled fail "Failed to Install (File I/O Error)". The devices with version 1.0 transition to version 2.0 with no issue. How do I get around from installing the application to the failed devices one by one? I have seen this entry in the MC logs, and I am unsure if it is generating I/O errors. Anyone familiar with this? Specifically on the TC75.
Hello, I created a profile with StageNow importing some PersonalDictionary items to the device. I tested the profile by using the StageNow App and the entries are present on the device. The package was successfully installed on the device, but the entries are missing. Device Zebra TC51-HC with the latest Android 7.1.2 and Soti agent 13.6. I have a problem starting a factory reset with my android devices. I have the settings disabled via a policy and occasionally a factory reset needs to be started by an end user while offline. My thought was to have a script that the end user could run to start the reset /w command, but I didn't see a way to do this? What I really need is to be able to easily have the device factory reset by the end user while the device is offline with the settings disabled. Any advice would be appreciated.

Does anyone know if it's possible to manage input devices (e.g. USB barcode scanners) on Android+ devices? I was hoping to load configuration files of a USB barcode scanner (Zebra DS8178) using the tablet it's connected on, through MobiControl. The barcode scanner comes with its own remote management tool (SMS), but that only supports Windows clients.

I know we have the tagging system but I think the tags are easy to miss and are underused. Thoughts?
Hi, I already have a case for this(C00275940), but just wanted to check if anyone might have a suggestion. Issue: Devices of various (7.0+) Android builds, networks (4G, Wi-Fi) and OEMs cannot enroll (times our when trying to connect to server in MC agent) after a DNS update. Everything is marked green by admin util. and already enrolled devices connect just fine. If I manually enter the enrollment page in a browser, then it is properly displayed and accessible from all devices and networks (available from on internet). The weirdest is however, that when testing alongside support, THEY where able to enroll devices to the environment. None of us have been able to explain this behaviour yet. For now we have fetched ADB-logs which is then to be submitted to development. I however just have a feeling this has to do with the DS certificate. Even though this is mapped to the correct hostname and everything is marked green (And support was able to enroll their test device.).
