We are trying to create a link to some documents through a lockdown profile on Android Plus. so far I have a link to mobicontrol Launch://net.soti.mobicontrol.androidwork This takes me to the device configuration screen though, and we need it to go directly to the Content library tab to prevent headaches with users. so far I have tried net.soti.mobicontrol.ui.contentlibrary as well as a few similar versions but none work. Apparently you can't link directly to the documents which would be ideal, so I am trying to get the user as close to where they need to be as possible.
Hi, I want to use MobiControl Content Library to play videos for training users. The videos are short like 1 or 2 MB max. I can play videos when i am in the admin mode but when i go to lock down mode the videos won't play and the video file just shows like a white file with no app associated with it to run. I have an issue where we have implemented Enterprise on the XCOVER4s and via QR code enabled all the on board apps via enterprise. All good, However i wanted to use the content library as there are certain things that our remote workers need extra information on when they are in the field. It all deployed fine and the documents have been downloaded to the device but none of them will open even though we have the google PDF reader installed and set to default. You click the button and nothing happens. Unlock the device......go to the Mobicontrol app --->Content Library.......Open..........work fine Lock it back up..............docs wont open Any Ideas?
I an looking a way to launch by script the MDM net.soti.mobicontrol.ui.MainActivity (content library. activity on mobicontrol) directly from lockdown. If it is possible, I would like to know if it would be possible to designate a specific file to be opened.
