Firstly can you check the bundle id of mobi control agent by clicking on device and seeing under application tab .You can search from there by typing mobi as shown in screenshot and you can see bundle identifier as per agent type(as android enterprise agent bundle id will be different from android oem ) so launch that on lockdown and try to play the file from content library inside that.

Secondly kindly try to launch  com.samsung.android.video (bundle id of default video player ) and you can verify this from  same application tab mentioned above or can capture that by sending identify_activity script (while video player is opened in admin mode) and see the activity in device log section and try to launch that on lockdown  alongwith mobi contol agent and test it.

Thanks for posting to soti central!!

It seems that you are playing video files from content library  in admin mode so can you try to add the MobiControl bundle ID to the lockdown (Samsung Devices =Launch://net.soti.mobicontrol.elm.samsung) and play video from contect library section there inside the lockdown.(As to play content library files , you need to launch mobi control agent )

If still you face an issue , so kindly share screenshot of your lockdown screen.

Thanks for the response but this didn't work. When i go to the content library to play the video it still won't open on lockdown. Also we are on Mobicontrol Version 15.3 for the server so i am not able to find the bundle setting for the Mobicontrol app in the app policy.Please advise. Attached is the screenshot.If you see the file, nothing happens when i click on "Open" but it works when i am in admin mode as it plays it in the default video player on the phone.Thanks.

Seems like we have a success here. So i published the video player bundle on the lockdown screen and now can play the videos from the mobicontrol content library. But i would ideally like to have the video player Icon not show on the lockdown. Is there a way to do that? Please advise.Thanks.

Modify your html template file to remove the corresponding kiosk entry icon from being displayed.

Secondly let us know if you are able to hide the application by modifying the html template to make sure it should display the no of icons as many we want.
