Good Morning, I am looking for a way to generate a report to see what devices are currently on and connected to SOTI. I am pushing several App packages tonight and would like to have an idea of how many devices are currently connected at the time of the updates so I can monitor and support if needed. I would also like to figure out a way to check what devices haven't connected in a while lets say 1 week or 1 month. What is the best method to achieve these two sets of data?
Aloha is there any way to re-connect a device to the deployment server using scripts? I tried connect, and connect -f and had no success. Is there something i need to do on the device to execute this scripts? Thank you in advance.
Hello, I have an issue with come Zebra MC67 running Android 4.1.1 and for a few weeks I encountered the next issue: even if devices are connected to the internet ( 3G / Wi-fi) the Agent status is "Disconnected". So I can't update any app or connect to the device. Notes: -Other Samsung / Bluebird devices do not encounter this issue. -Foreground script sent to a few of these devices, doesn't seem to help. Any ideas how to fix this?
Hello all, We work with mobicontrol in version v13.3.0.3454 we have some tablet Panasonic FZ B2 on android 4.4 who works since many years. Since several days and i don't know why we have all device connected on wifi xxxx who connect and disconnect after some second .. each time.. Looks at the picture. The client mobicontrol on these device is -> v13.3.3.1010 for some and for some other is 13.6.0.1664 but all tablet Panasonic have this problem ... Anyone has idea about how i can advance in this problem ? I have restart the device but nothing change and also create a version 2 of the wifi profile and assign them but nothing change. The people who works with these device tell me that the device has never change of location ... thanks in advance
hey everyone, ever since upgrading our SOTI to a newer version, the device profiles that we assign to our tablets will not load unless i revoke it and reinstall it. it seems the profile will get about halfway installed and then it sits there and takes a while. i have also noticed that the agent will not stay connected. the devices we are using are Samsung Tab A's with verizon and ATT
On Zebra TC75x and TC56 devices running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat with Lifeguard updates 11 and up, we noticed the MobiControl agent disconnecting from the server whilst the devices do have an active internet connection. When the device reboots, MobiControl does as well and stays connected for a few minutes but it'll disconnect soon after. During the staging process of these devices, we add MobiControl to the battery optimization whitelist. We've tested this thoroughly and this works fine. Further testing proved that, once the device reboots, the setting will revert and MobiControl will be submitted to battery optimization and thus will be killed by Android to save power in x minutes, if not in use. Not maintaining this setting is problem 1. Problem 2 is that the MobiControl agent will not reconnect after being killed by the battery optmimization process, unless you reboot the device. I must say we always have a Lockdown screen in place, that might have got something to do with it. Any ideas how we can add the MobiControl agent to the battery optimization whitelist permanently? We are having an issue where many of our Panasonic FZ-A2 Android devices keep disconnecting every few minutes, then reconnecting a few minutes later. The devices are connecting to the network via 4G LTE connections, not via WiFi. Accordingly, in the device log they are showing "Device disconnected", and then a few minutes later showing "Device connected". I am suspecting this is an issue with the 4G connection, and possibly even the SIM card. However, the amount of devices having this error leads me to question if something else is going on. The disconnecting of the devices is causing some issues with some of the real-time apps running on them. If anyone has any suggestions on where to look next or preferably a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
