Hello everyone,for a customer I need the following function:The customer must be able to access the screen presentation function in the SOTI lockdown screen via the notification bar, as he has to lock the screen in landscape in a certain application.If I use the Settings Manager for this, it will always be automatically switched to portrait.Auto rotation is unfortunately not an option either, as the customer then has problems with his application.A Zebra TC25 with Lifeguard 94 is used. SOTI version is a cloud with the current version 15.3.3.1065.Thank you for a short feedback.
Hello, I try to lock the screen of my Zebra TC52 in landscape mode via script. Does anyone know if that's possible? Currently I'm using this script: writesecuresetting -sys accelerometer_rotation 0 It disables the autoscreen rotation, but it locks in portrait mode. I need it in landscape mode. Device is a Zebra TC52 with Android 10 Enterprise, Agent 14.5.3 Thanks for your help!
Hello all, I have a tablet Panasonic FZ B2 on android 6.0. Where i work we used soti mobicontrol server on version 13.3.3454 On the tablet , i have downloaded the apk => soti client on version 13.6.0 build 1257. The tablet is well enrolled into the server. I have created a profile with a lockDown -> simple html page by default I've add an icon, a name for this icon and the link as this : browser://... All work, i can add the lockdown on the tablet, unlock the lockdown and so on => perfect :) well, now the lock down is put on Landscape mode ...how i can change the orientation of the lock down ? Because, after install the lockdown is on landscape ...and i would like to change it to PORTRAIT ... thanks for all christophe
I am running soti mobicontrol and Surf on Zebra MC33, android 7.1 I would like to disable the screen rotation, locking the screen in portrait mode. I have tried to send a script "lockdownorientation portrait" but with no luck. Any suggestions?
Hi! We have started developing on the Android Enterprise platform instead of Android+ but one quite big problem is that we can't lock the screen orientation. In Android+ we used the writesecuresettings command for this but naturally this can't be used in AE. Since we don't want any manual steps in the staging process of quite a lot devices we would like to find a way to automatically apply a locked setting in portrait mode. Anyone have a solution for this or have the same problem?
