Configuration URI with a Package instead of a App Catalog Rule?

We have an app we are trying to deploy that supports the Configuration URI concept. Is there any way to install the app and configure it via Package instead of relying on an App Catalog rule? This option is available in App Catalogs for Managed Play and Enterprise apps, but we want to install the app via Package instead since it provides more control.

    Android App Configuration

Hi @all We are testing SOTI Mobicontrol at the moment, we'd like to install and configure Zebra Android hand scanners. The main app used on the scanners is the "warehousing-Dynamics 365 App we'd like to install and configure using the SOTI Product Installing the app works, however we still don't know how to configure it, means submitting the values for  Client ID, Client Key etc. These values are known and static for us, so how can we fill in the configuration automatically ? We've found a Hint in the manual that we can enter a "URI" in the advanced options of the "edit application  catalogue entry but we do not know how to specify this or what is the intended method for this. Anybody know how to solve this ? Kind regards Till

How do we link the lockdown icon with an URL shortcut file for Windows Mobile devices?

I know we can browse the website via browse:// as mentioned by the following SOTI online help. https://goo.gl/fZnZfY However, my situation is every devices need to browse a website which has no convention logic of the URL . I have to manually create multiple Website.url files with different URL and push them to corespondent devices. All the devices are enrolled within one group and i don't want to create different lockdown menus for each devices (1000+). I need to be able to open the url shortcut of \application\Website.url from SOTI lockdown page. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Script to change values within //settings/global?

I came across a previous conversation regarding the 'watchsettings on' script within MobiControl, however I have a question on how to send a script to an Android 6.0.1 device where the setting is defined as 'global'. Does anyone know the correct format for changing values within the //settings/global range, for example Bluetooth or WIFI? Bluetooth OffCustom log (URI:content://settings/global SETTING:bluetooth_on VALUE:0Bluetooth OnCustom log (URI:content://settings/global SETTING:bluetooth_on VALUE:1
