i think the filysync rules are a mighty way to handle some stuff.
BUT: there are no options for conditional usage by params like software version on device side etc. - only the condition to use it on a special group which reults in some probs like the need to move devices between groups.
Is soti working on extending this part ?
Target your file sync rule to a virtual device group (or a group sub-tree) that uses "automatic" filter(s) to pick devices will solve your problem. No devices need to be moved.
Virtual Groups are extremely configurable from a criteria standpoint. I think you should be able to accomplish the very specific device group targeting that you're looking for. I wish you could be as granular with Profile application!
