Hi,

Openeing adminmode from an android device takes so long. but through script works instantly.

Android device: CK75 and CK65 with Android 6 and Android 11 respectively

Hi Amine,

Based off some research internally on the continuous "Switching to admin mode" toast message. We currently use the SafetyNet Attestation API alongside our Android Agent. Sometimes this check fails on check-in for LTE/Mobile networks for example. Which then seems to be causing what you're experiencing.

There's plans to migrate this part of our android agent to an API called Play Integrity API in the near future. This could likely resolve this uncommon issue that you're experiencing.

However, I would still recommend you raise a Support Case so that it'll give us an opportunity to investigate the specific issue that might be causing this for you. For example, it might be related to a recent change from your LTE/mobile provider.

The script I provided will effectively disable this check-in until you change your Feature Control profile configuration. I recommend disabling the option shown below in your DFC and as the picture shows, the check will still happen once a day.

Once the other locations have confirmed it works. Please also kindly mark the appropriate post as the solution.

Hi Amine,

Does this issue only occur on LTE/Mobile networks? Can you also try this script on an affected test device:

writeprivateprofstring DeviceFeature EnableSafetyNetOnCheckIn 0
apply featurecontrol

Does that script solve the issue for you?

Worked fine so far. I have to keep it on focus till I get a positive feedback from other locations

In my Case this does not work. 
Do you have any other ideas? 
Server Version is 15.6.5 and Agent Version is 2024.02
