We have an issue with a certain app and with the Samsung A13 with android 13 and android 14, the developers of the app can't bring us a solution, the only respond is security reasons about it.
can anyone have the same issue?

We only see this if device pin/password has to be entered to confirm something (then you need to type it in blind on the local keyboard and hit enter) or if devices are enrolled as BYOD, then this is the case for all apps in the private part (tested on a Samsung A33 with Android 13) and both is expected behavior.
The blind mode is the exact behavior all the time since you starts the app untill you finish it.
This is the app:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tsystems.tao.webapp.android.multas
So if you have to manage how it works with the updates or issues by remote view, without seeing anything it's imposible ....
And the provider don't want help with it, is tricky question,
The question is if it happens with the rest of MDM solutions on the market place ...
But is your device BYOD or COPE/COBO?
I think it's an app issue but maybe you can ask others in the enterprise community as well: https://www.androidenterprise.community/
Do you have any kind of information about it?
Related with the security on android 13, 14 and the limitations about it, for example remote access (black screen) ...
As said only if the device pin/password has to be entered or if the app is running in the personal profile (BYOD/COPE).
I don't know if an app can trigger this behavior itself somehow (and i think my post before is not a solution, only a hint) but never saw this happening yet.
And if other apps work fine, this very sounds/look like an app issue the developers needs to investigate together with you (or Soti) and Google maybe.
