Advanced Configuration — Issues with the Update Schedule?

The Advanced Configuration settings include an Update Schedule:

1.  **"Locate Device Upon Check-in"**: What is the specific function of this button? What is the behavioral difference on the device itself when this setting is toggled "On" versus "Off"?

2.  **"Distribute Device Check-ins"** (within the scheduled update settings): What is the purpose of this feature? How does the device's behavior differ when this switch is toggled "On" versus "Off"? 

*   **Scenario:** Suppose I configure the update schedule to check in once every 60 minutes.
*   **Time Window** = 60 minutes
*   **First 75% of Window** = 0–45 minutes
*   **"Distribute Device Check-ins" Enabled:** Each device within the group randomly selects a specific time point within the 0–45 minute interval to check in, rather than all devices converging simultaneously right at the 60-minute mark.
*   **"Distribute Device Check-ins" Disabled:** All devices attempt to check in simultaneously at the exact 60-minute mark (or as close to it as possible).

Is my understanding of this functionality correct?

To 1.: This means that the device should distribute it's location info (if possible) on each check-in.

To 2.: Not sure where you fund the "distribute device check-ins" i only know the "evenly device checkins" (I'm on 2026.0.1, but also on our 2026.1.0 test environment) without any additional setting (like your 75% mentioned) possible. This means, the checkins will be evenly spread over the timeframe you defined (in your example 60 min.).
