I am so sorry for not being active on my on ticket.
I just tested this, and it have no effect on the settings under the app info, battery, battery optimization

I am officially a fool.
Just read some more about the function and on Android 11+, you need to restart the device for the setting to kick in.
I will mark your suggestion as an answer, if I am able to :)
