Command line Package Studio

Is it possible to run Package studio as command line app so it can be incorporated into our build servers?

I can see this has been asked before here:

SOTI Discussion Forum

But that was some 4 years ago. I've tried to use the file linked in the discussion before that:

SOTI Discussion Forum

But it doesn't seem to generate a file, it just fails silently with no error.

I've contact support to ask and they've said they only fix things and that I need to ask here instead?

Here's both powershell and the standard command prompt:

Opening the same mcp file in the GUI builds it no problem.

Hi Ben,

In the the package project folder, there should be a folder called "built". Can you confirm if there are any packages created there?

If there are any, can you please delete them and then re-attempt to run the command?

Kind regards,

I've managed to solve it by simplifying the file locations I'd changed in the mcp file, I think I had made it too complicated for the command line tool.

Hi Ben,

That is great to hear! If the issue is resolved, can you mark the post or create a new post with the steps taken to troubleshoot this issue and mark the post as solution?
