Why do i need to resetfailedrcdetectionflag every time?

Solved

Almost every time i have to remote control an Android device, i have to run the "activate remote icon" first.
Isn't there some way to activate it once for all? :)

Which agent version do you have? 

I this was solved already with a previous version of the current one (https://docs.soti.net/soti-mobicontrol/android-agent/release-notes/153/android-enterprise-agent-maintenance-releases/):

Thank you for your answer.
I am mainly using 13.x.x agents.

To update the agents, will i just have to make a package with the newest apk and shoot it out to all devices?

In general yes, but please start with pilots and test carefully before do a general rollout. I recommend to not use the latest agent because it has currently some issues (showing wrong IP for example).

You can do it via package (every Mobicontrol versoin) or enterprise app policy (if you are on 15.6.X).

 For most supported device brands/models and agent/firmware version combinations, one should rarely need to run this.  Related problem only happen more or less randomly for a very small portion of the devices once for a long period of time.

If your problem is consistent and has to run the script EVERY time,  do more tests or collect more data to find the error pattern and confirm whether it is the device model, firmware version, or agent version that causes the problem.
