 Hi

I wanted to ask the following question to design our solution in a High Avalability Environment:

- Is it possible to run multiple Console Servers?

- Is a Microsoft SQL "Always On" Configuration supported?

Thank you and best regards

Yes (if you actually mean multiple Management Servers)

Thank you for your answer.

We have multiple Datacenters. Can I run a Deployment Server with a Network Latency about 4ms to the SQL Server?

Or is this latency too high?

How many geographical locations/sites are you considering?    Is the multi-site HA implementation primarily intended for load-balancing or disaster recovery?  Approximately how many devices and what device platforms are you expecting for each site?  Which Mobicontrol version and build numbers will you be using?

We have 2 Sites with 4ms latency.

It its work with 4ms latenzz then we would like to use both Sites with Load Balancing.

We plan to mangage around 8000 Android Plus Devices in total. We use the latest Mobicontrol Version.

My gut feeling is that 4ms latency should not be a problem.  Please consult Soti support or professional service team to confirm.

However, the main issues seem to be security of your SQL database and how you set up your hardware if your device platform(s)  requires a hardware load-balancer.   Although you can use built-in software load-balancing for Android+ platform at the moment,   the limitations on future expansion for other platforms or for integration for more enterprise-grade services are a major concern.    I would keep the two deployment servers and the SQL database  in one single site if I were you.   All the devices located in/near the site different from site having the servers will have slower response, but the whole set-up will be much much simpler and more secure.
