hi, I wonder if there is a way to refresh the settings to the Honeywell UEMConnect app once installed.
Honeywell UEMConnect downloadable at https://play.google.com/work/apps/details?id=com.honeywell.oemconfig is an AppConfig compliant app. So, when deployed to Android Enterprise device with MobiControl App policy, whenever any of the managed-configuration options associated with the policy gets changed, the new value will be dynamically refreshed to the app running on each deployed device.
Assuming that the app is deployed through Managed Play and not as an Enterprise app, do changes to managed configurations get pushed out automatically through Play to the device, or are the configuration changes also restricted by the same Google Play update criteria (device is idle, charging state, etc)? Meaning could you adjust a managed configuration setting of an a Managed Play app and still potentially wait hours until all of the update criteria are met?
And in addition, ensure that the device is able to get those information (if for example after the final rollout another (more restricted) Wifi is used). This could also pretends the device from getting the information.
