Support for public key cryptography (generation/management of individual key pairs for each client)

We are managing hundreds of Zebra Android clients via the MobiControl agent and are currently designing a secure data transmission system involving our Backend Server, the SOTI Deployment Server, and the Zebra Android clients, as outlined in the attached component diagram.

The objective of this system is to facilitate the secure transmission of confidential information between these components. A particular emphasis is placed on encryption to ensure that any intercepted communications remain secure and unreadable en route to the Zebra devices.

Given the pivotal role of SOTI in our design, I seek clarification on the following:

  • Key Generation Support:
    Does SOTI offer support for the generation of individual key pairs (public and private) for each client, enabling secure encryption and decryption of the transmitted data?

    While we understand that we could develop this feature independently, leveraging existing SOTI functionalities would be preferable

  • Technical documentation

    Could you please direct me to the relevant sections of your technical documentation where I can find further information regarding this functionality and its implementation?
