As the title suggests, has this option worked for anyone and how exactly?
I wanted to use this option for cleaning up update files on devices but i never got it to work properly.
Some of my customers have been using file-sync rules for years without any problem. Please provide more details on various parameters you set in your file-sync rule, and the scope & names of the files in the source/destination directories.
File Sync works as intended, my question was just about the following parameter:
This automated deletion of files that are not found at the source doesn´t work for me.
If i understood you correctly, you want th complete opposite of the file sync rule:
Delete files/folders if no files are copied to the device, correct?
Because the option you put in the subject doesn't exist. I think you need a profile with containing just a cleanup script.
