Is it possible to add widgets to the home screen on Android 11 while still in lockdown?
If you are talking about an app .apk that implement a widget on home screen if there is no lockdown menu, then you might still be able to complete installation of such apps (provided all the system services required to complete such installation are not blocked by the kiosk), but you won't be able to see the widget and the home screen as long as the lockdown menu is active.

Widgets include many things, please confirm what exactly are you referring to?
For example, widgets include Calendar, Entertainment, Sports, etc. If you'd like you can add Calendar (for example) to the lockdown screen.

Clock can be added to the lockdown screen item. Please find the screenshot below.

We are also looking into widgets on lockscreen, does soti lockdown (dynamic template) support widgets at all?
Some simple testing for example clock widget, does not work in our case on TC58 / A13, soti 15.6
But able to add widgets outside lockdown as normal.
