Problem with Symbol WT41N0

Hello,

I have a problem with Symbol WT41N0. (Windows Mobile/CE) Device is enrolled in SOTI Mobicontrol 14.4.3.1153.

After cold restart with 1, 9 and power button device loose time settings and reset them to 2012. 

In this case there is no connection to soti server. Connection can be done if we  set time to corect date and year.

How we can avoid this?

We have set up remote time synchronization thru SOTI agent from SOTI Server/ Time server  but result was the same.

How we can save correct time after restart to be sure that device can connect to SOTI server?

Hello,

I had a lot of problems with those devices. 

I solved this problem with a .reg. You must modify the NTP servers:

;MC32 has however RTC backup implemented ( MC92 / WT41 / VC70 donâ??t )

If you place the .reg file in the /application folder on the device it will be automatically merged on a coldboot.
