Updating certificate - Server host does not match

Our 'Deployment Server Extensions & Web Console' certificate is about to expire.

I went to the administration utility and generated a new certificate. During this process I was not required to write anything. But when I try to apply the certificate, I get a warning that the host name does not match the certificate common name.

Is there something I should do prior to generating the certificate?

Our server is running on premises and is version 14.2.0.2894

Hello Jacob Persson,

Thank you for posting on SOTI Pulse.

Regarding your query, this is to inform you that the certificate has to be generated using the same root certificate and you need to check weather previously a SHA-2 certificate or SHA-1 was in use, as you need to generate the same certificate again.

Also, Changing the certificate is a crucial step in case of on premise server so we would like to suggest opening a ticket with Support@soti.net or if you are a Premium /Enterprise customer feel free to use the customer portal. Please do let us know if the issue has been resolved or the support ticket is already in progress.
