Active Directory end user authentication on an Android device

Hi,

Is there a "best practice scenario" to implement such a thing?

For example even if a KIOSK Mode is activ is somehow possible to engage with "a step before" an authentication and only after loading the KIOSK?

I'm not necessarily speaking here about a "shared device" but kinda similar...

I would also be interested in an SSO implementation solution.

Thanks!

If your devices are really shared devices, then just using the shared-device mode  with  AD log-in is the simplest solution.  All your devices are assigned to a SINGLE shared-device group before log-in, and are relocated some other device group(s) with different kiosk policies after log-in.

However, if your devices are actually dedicated devices, each used by a fixed end-user for an extended period of time, then using the shared device approach may mean you have to create one shared-device group per device to avoid confusion.

Finally,  if one has the right expertise, it may also be possible to try including some advanced javascript codes in the kiosk html/CSS template  to implement some kind of log-in in the kiosk/lockdown-menu payload defined within a MobiControl profile policy.

Hello Remy,
Thank you for posting on SOTI Central!
For SSO implementation, I would advise creating a case with us for further assistance.

Please take a look at the following articles for more information on SSO:
