I want to know if changing MC registration code causes a prompt on an already enrolled device that is using Samsung ELM agent. Below are the transition paths that I need to know.
Product to Trial registration code.
Trial to Product registration code.
Production to Production and Trial to Trial registration code.
There is only 1 ELM license key that is used for all customers in both Production and Trial MobiControl instances. When a customer enrolls a Samsung device with an ELM agent for the first time, the device will be prompted to activate the ELM license. After the initial ELM activation is done during enrollment there will be no further ELM activation prompts on the device even if the MobiControl server registration code changes from Trial -> Production, Production -> Trial, Trial -> Trial or Production -> Production.
The only way a MobiControl enrolled device using Samsung ELM agent will be prompted is if the device is un-enrolled and re-enrolled again as a new device.
