No Data from new Mobicontrol-Blocks in Blockly

Solved

Hi,

I am trying to read data from the device with the new Mobicontrol blocks in blockly.

For example, I would like to read out the device ID or a custom attribute of the device and use it in the SNAP app.

But it doesn't work as expected. No ID is displayed in the text field and also no error is displayed. The script part does not seem to be executed at all.

Unfortunately, the SOTI help page does not provide any further information on the new blocks.

Best regards

Steffen

Hello Steffen,

Is the link functional for you at this time?

SI

Hi Deepak,

this link works perfectly and the blockly mobicontrol blocks are working also now. Thank you for your help!

Hi Steffen,

Would it be feasible to schedule a meeting with you to conduct a remote viewing session of your app? Alternatively, could you share the app token with us to facilitate a more thorough diagnosis?

SI

Hi Deepak,

unfortunately there is not much to see at the moment. The test-app only consists of a text field and a button that writes the device ID in the text field.

Token Name: Test-MCInfo

Shareable Token: 8954d185-aeca-2c99-f8db-54b43df5aa2b

Perhaps the usage of the mobicontrol-block is wrong in the app, but the help-documentation doesn't show any information on the right usage.

Hello Steffen,

We've identified the underlying cause of the problem. In response to a security concern, we've implemented some adjustments to ensure functionality.

I'll provide a comprehensive step-by-step guide later this evening once our QA team has confirmed the solution.

Hello Steffen,

We've got a solution.

Utilizing MC, you'll need to distribute this package to all devices where you anticipate using this feature.

Package to download
SNAP - MC Package

Hi Deepak,

Unfortunately the link does not work.

Is there another way to download the package?

Hi,

I don't have a solution to the problem yet. Is it possible to download the package somewhere else or to get the above mentioned download link to work?
