Term Relay application removed after a reboot

Hello,

After rebooting the CK75 (Android 6) the Term Relay application is removed.

As you can see in the configuration from MobiControl the profile is assigned and the application seems to be installed.

In the logs I cannot find the issue.

Any one gets similar issue and have a solution will be apriciated.

What happens if you attempt to install the app manually on a device? Do you see any errors? Do any Google Play Protect warnings pop up?

Hi Matt, 

We don't use google play, the app is uploaded to the scanner directly from our internal server.

I tried to enabled the option "allow unknown sources" and still the same issue.

Even if the app is not installed via Google Play it can still be flagged by Google Play Protect and removed from the device. I am not if those protections would apply all the way back to Android 6 but that is possible with new versions of Android. If you attempt to manually install the app on a test device you may see an error message pop up that could explain why the app is being removed.

still the same problem even after installing the client package from Honeywell after reboot the application getting back to the old version (like a factory version) and the newest version is deleted

To explain further

Factory reset made then the enrollment done again successfully, TE app launched worked properly then device rebooted (or battery swapped) we opened the app again and we get "No session", device restarted again then the application was removed completely from the device and the strange thing that the version 1.00.00.0001 is shown in the App tab from MobiControl

Normally the version should be that is already deployed through a profile in MobiControl

When clicking on TermRelay app we get "Package not found"

and profile is shown "installed" in the console

I didn't find any logs about this issue.

Through ADB tool I get this log

Therefore, a thorough investigation is necessary. It is highly recommended that you log a case so that we can delve deeper into the matter.
