All Samsung device firmwares include various Knox platform libraries with hundreds of OEM specific MDM related API's, some are free to use while others need paid license.   All MDM vendors or third-party developers can build software based on these libraries from Samsung.   For examples, Samsung built their own device management products such as Knox Configure (KC), Knox Manage, Knox E-FOTA, etc. based on various libraries of the KNOX platform.   Also, Samsung recently released Knox Service Plug-in (KSP) OEMConfig compliant app that provides easy access to many of the KNOX features via MDM/EMM software without writing any codes.
