one of our custoer have requirement to enroll their devices to SOTI (Windows, Android, MAC OS, iOS). but problem is those devices are already enrolled with an other MDM and they have no ermision to remove it.

For Windows I have propose legacy enrollment but with so many limitation. Android and Apple I didn't find out any workaround.

Is there any way to enroll a device to multiple MDMs ? at least Windows devices with full features.

As far as i know, you must remove it from the other MDM first. Even from legal side this should be done and that you don't have access to remove them from the old one, sounds very strange.

Get in contact with the relevant person to remove those devices from the old MDM and enroll them then afterwords into Soti.
You could also reach out to Soti support but I'm pretty sure they will tell you the same.

Hi Ruwan Jayasanka,

Thanks for posting on SOTI Pulse, thanks Rafael for responding to the post.

In general, it is not possible to enroll a device in two different Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions simultaneously. This is because MDM solutions are designed to have exclusive control over the device, which means that two MDM solutions attempting to manage the same device would conflict with each other, resulting in unpredictable behavior and potentially rendering the device unusable.

However, some MDM solutions may allow you to enroll a device in their own solution while also allowing you to integrate with other MDM solutions. This may be done through APIs or other integration methods, but it ultimately depends on the capabilities of the specific MDM solutions in question.

It's important to note that attempting to enroll a device in multiple MDM solutions can create security risks, as it can potentially allow unauthorized access to sensitive data on the device. Therefore, it is generally recommended to choose one MDM solution that meets all of your needs and stick with it.

Kindly let us know if you have any concerns about this issue.

Kind regards,
