Is there a way to transfer a file FROM the Android device to your desktop or a place in Soti Mobi Control

I need a way to retrieve a file from a folder in file manager to send to a 3rd party for troubleshooting purposes.  I have been unable to figure out how to do this

Use remote control (legacy) there you should have full file access with an explorer and upload and download files.

You can also download files via the Web based Remote Control, you just can't upload them from that interface. File Sync is another option if you want to sync files from the device to the server or vice versa.

Good morning From what I understand your question, it occurs to me to use the remote mobicontrol tool and copy and paste the file you want to use. Or were you looking for something more automatic?

Yeah, you can only download in webconsole and even only one file a time.

I hope that this will be as in legacy sometime.

And the filesync should (in my opinion) only used for a timed or recurring file up/download or if you have to handle many file downloads from many different devices.

Hi Nancy,

I am glad that you find the way to download file/files from a device to your desktop.

I would like to recap the process of how to transfer files from a device to your desktop agian. You can use remote control html5 and remote control legacy mode.

1. Using remote control html5.

Once you click on the files, they will be automatically download them on your computer.

2. Using legacy mode.

You can select multiple files and drag them to your computer i.e. desktop.

Kind Regards,
