Sometimes when customers want to collect the location history of devices, they enforce the location service on by ticking the box in Feature Control. But after some time into doing that, they may find none of the location data has been collected on some devices.
Android devices have three location modes and the option in Feature Control only enforces the lowest tier - locating devices through GPS. GPS signal is subject to many interferences, for example, it does not work well indoors, which is the place where many of our customer's devices would be physically placed for most of the time.
