Custom Images

The Custom Images dropdown in LockDown contains too many files not being used and scrolling through them takes forever.  Some of these need to be removed.   Where else are these images stored? This is for an android+ work managed device hosted on the soti web console.  I cannot find this in new version 2025.1.

Hi Mel,

The custom images in Lockdown are stored within the SOTI MobiControl console database, not on the device. In version 2025.1, they can be managed directly from the Lockdown profile settings—you’ll need to remove unused images from there. If an image is linked to an active profile, it must be unassigned first before deletion.

Hi MMMOD,

Could you please show how to remove those files? I have not found any option to delete those files in MC 2025.1

Dear Melissa,

Thank you for posting on SOTI Pulse.

With the product advancing on different fronts, the functionality to delete lockdown images from UI has been removed.

But  as per requests for a dedicated file management solution now our teams are working to get it back very soon.

Though you can access the Shared File Browser by following the below steps and check for the other files which may need to be deleted although we  suggest to extra cautious while deleting files as may inadvertently cause other issue due to human error.

 1. Log in to SOTI MobiControl as an Administrator

 2. Select Policies from the main menu

3. Navigate to Enrollment policy>All Policies

4. Navigate to the legacy console view

5. Within the legacy console, select your username at the top right corner while pressing (Ctrl + Shift + Left Click on the         username) simultaneously to open the Shared File Browser window

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out or you can contact us at  support@soti.net

We're dedicated to providing assistance and support

Also, if this post has helped you in solving your inquiry, I would request you to mark the particular comment as "is solution", so others may benefit from this information.

 Kind regards,

I have not worked with Soti 2025 yet, the last answer indicated that Lockdown profile settings has the ability to delete the files. This would point to the actual lockdown configuration within the profile, is there any ability to select an image and then choose delete or a delete button somewhere available?
