Unable to deploy agent in Raspberry PI - Latest Raspbian OS

Hi:

I m unable to make this work. As you can see below the agent was installed with success.

I m deploying using the URL provided by the rule,  same behaviour with the latest agent, SOTI server is reachable.

Is there any pre-requisites to make it work in Raspbian? I m deploying several Ubuntu boxes and are running fine from scratch, no additional modules were needed.

Hi Santiago,

Thank you for posting in SOTI Central.

Is your Raspbian OS setup all up to date with its default packages before you ran the MobiControl agent installer (.sh)?

Secondly, once you've done that then did you execute the install.sh with root?

First, thanks to contact me.

Yes, i have downloaded the latest Raspbian version (2021-01-11-raspios-buster-armhf-full) , transfer to SD card using  Raspberry Pi Imager, followed the installation wizard. after that i have execute installer.sh provided by SOTI.

Yes i did using root, otherwise you cant install.

In addition i m getting this message in syslog

Hi Santiago,

The latest Raspbian OS should be working for you. Can you raise a Support Case via support@soti.net / support.eu@soti.net and we'll continue off from there. Ideally, I suggest you provide a way for SOTI to connect to the device via SSH (and root) and we'll perform further investigation why it doesn't work.

Also just before you do that, double-check and make sure you're using the latest Linux Agent from https://docs.soti.net/mobicontrolagentdownloads. Then you download the MCSetup.ini from your Add Device Rule, place it in the same directory then run the .sh installer.

Good morning:

Finally get it work with another Raspberry model. (Pi 2 model B).

Was testing with Raspberry 3B+ , this model does not work in SOTI.

So you can close the question.
