The concerns you have brought up in this thread have now been addressed.  A new method of adding hosted images has been introduced in an updated version of the site a few weeks ago, as well as the copy and paste method that was previously being utilized.  Take note that enhancements are being made to this and other features and you can expect improved performance from the improvements.   

The instructions of how to use the new image interface is in the About Discussion Forum section, however this may be renamed soon.  Also the "Members space" has returned.

The site developers have been made aware of this and have prioritized working on a resolution.  They are having an issue replicating the circumstances as this issue does not happen every time a new image is loaded and seems to occur sporadically.  They are working with the site moderators to provide replication steps. 

We appreciate your concern for the problem.  We can confirm that management is already aware of the issue as well, and that we share the same concern as you do, as it makes troubleshooting issues more difficult. 

I will update this thread as they provide us with relevant updates regarding the resolution.  We do apologize for any inconvenience this is causing and thank you for your due diligence in ensuring the forum works as expected.

It's great to hear that someone is looking into this issue.

If the new "Inset/Edit Image" UI is going to stay, please don't forget to provide information to forum users on how to use it (what should be input in the "source" field).  This may be a easier path to fix the problem if everyone switch to use it rather than using the cut-and-paste workaround.

BTW.  I suspect there is another bug in the forum implementation.  Shouldn't that be a badge added when a forum user gets 1000 points or more?   In my case,  most of the other badges were issued automatically within hours when the stated criteria had been met, but I didn't see this one issued since I got 1000 points last week.

If you don't mind me asking when was the last time you experienced this issue?   I will be able to speak to the images piece soon after some testing, thank you for the suggestion on how to use it.   We will definitely consider posting instructions for the newly added method of adding pictures, into strong consideration, as it has changed from the original method. 

As far as the badge I see that it has uploaded now.  Can you confirm you can see it and it is the correct one please?

I think the last time I saw the problem was about 1-2 weeks ago.   After I had first noticed this chaotic image replacement problem some 6-7 weeks ago, I decided not to include any image unless it's absolutely unavoidable.

I'm waiting to see when and where I can be see information on how to use the new image insertion mechanism.  Actually, I can't see why Soti cannot briefly give that information in this thread.

Finally, I can see the new badge now, but I don't know why the "Members Space"  near the bottom right corner becomes empty now.
