I have a few flavors of Android

KitKAT 4.4

android 10

I have server that is currently sha1 cert, android 10 needs sha2

I will install sha2 cert on Wed on our server

will KITKAT 4.4 and Android 8 work with sha2?

I was told it would

Hi Larry,

are you using Windows CE or WM Devices in one Installation ?

IF no verry Good if Yes you need a Second Deploment Server....

For Android 10 you need an SHA2 Root Certificate and a Server Certificate to don´t gent an SSL Error during Enrolling Android 10 Devices.

Below Android 10 it was Working with the Root SHA1 Zertificate to Enroll and Use.

Are you talking about SHA2 SSL certificate or SHA2 MobiControl root certificate that you are going to install on Wednesday (today)?

I have one server for sha1 older windows mobile devices that we are upgrading

the second server is for Android devices

everything is working as expected

I was a little concerned about older versions of android working once the cert sha2 was in place but that was no issue

I look forward to getting our devices up to at least Android v10 for now

thanks

I think it was the SHA2 MobiControl root certificate, it was the default one that was used when I first built the server and installed v15 and then we dropped it down to sha1 for windows mobile devices

thanks for you replies as always
