Is there a way to get the device orientation from the API?
If I remember correctly, the latest Soti MobiControl do not actively detect device orientation information to be reported back to the server. If needed, such information may be collected as custom data with data-collection rule at the shortest supported interval of 2 minutes. However, there can be significant time delay between data collection instant and the time the server/web-console can display/use such data to subsequently take required follow-up action(s).

In addition to what Raymond said, If you can find out a 3rd party application or create a one to detect the orientation, you can export this data on your device as a .ini/.hmtl or such, and you can get this information to Mobicontrol Webconsole by using "custom data" feature. I hope it helps.
