Issue Description

SOTI XSight displays an error message that reads "Email is required" when setting up an email recipient for a scheduled report. This occurs when selecting Save without first pressing the Enter key.

 

Environment

Present in SOTI XSight 2024.0.0 and 2024.0.1 on cloud and on-premise instances. The issue happens when the outbound email is added as a recipient for the first scheduled report.

Symptoms

When in the Scheduled Reports wizard, after entering a valid email in the Send To field for the first time and all other mandatory data, selecting Save without pressing Enter causes an error message.

Note: An error message also occurs when providing the To/CC for an outbound email from an incident.

Issue Resolution

This issue is corrected by upgrading to SOTI XSight version 2024.0.3.

Workarounds

The user can resolve the issue by removing the data from the Send To field, re-entering it, and then pressing the Enter button. If an email is already being used, no error is shown unless the user presses Enter.
