SOTI Connect 2025.0.2 Build 10164 replaces the previous build (10028) posted on June 23rd, 2025.
You must have the latest published version of SOTI Connect 2024.2 (or later) installed on your system before installing version 2025.0.2. Direct upgrades from versions earlier than 2024.2 are not supported. If running an older version, upgrade to 2024.2 first.
While Microsoft SQL Server 2022 is technically compatible with this release, it is not currently recommended as the database platform due to ongoing performance evaluations. SOTI advises testing in a non-production environment before deploying with SQL Server 2022.
SOTI Connect now supports full device management on Honeywell MQTT-based printers for the following models:
Includes key backend upgrades that enhance scalability and performance in high-load environments. These improvements benefit rule execution speed, data throughput, and API responsiveness.
SOTI Connect now offers an advanced System Copy Tool, which allows users to generate one-to-one clones of their system. This feature empowers users to test, troubleshoot, and debug their instances at an unprecedented capacity for purposes including, but not limited to, upgrade and configuration processes, while preserving everything from instance configurations to enrolled devices. Even though the tool comes embedded with the SOTI Connect 2025.0.2 installer, it is backward compatible up until version 2024.0, which means it can be bundled with instances on past versions before their upgrade to 2025.0.2. Please refer to SOTI Connect Product Help for further documentation of the System Copy Tool or contact your SOTI Account Manager on how to best utilize the tool for your use cases.
SOTI Connect now supports clustering for REST Protocol Adapters, significantly improving system resiliency and throughput. REST PAs can now be grouped and load-balanced across nodes, minimizing service interruptions and enabling higher device volumes.
Support for devices with intermittent or unreliable connectivity has been improved. SOTI Connect now better accommodates these devices, ensuring scheduled tasks and device management operations can still be executed with higher success rates.
SOTI Connect 2025.0.2 introduces several important improvements to the File Store, aimed at enhancing file handling, classification, and update automation.
The installer is updated to allow field trial customers using MQTT to upgrade to the commercial version of SOTI Connect without loss of existing configuration or device data.
